eleven for ’11

Having posted precisely ‘fuck all’ posts in February I’ve upped my game and this is my 3rd (THIRD) post of this March.  It isn’t anything particularly creative though just your run of the mill Spotify playlist.

Due to work and other things I’ve not really listened to much music but I’ve put together 11 songs for your listening pleasure or pain.  The eleven thing is cause it’s 2011, in case you were wondering.

After much hoo-hahing with the dealership about my new car it finally came yesterday morning and it is fucking great.  Time to plan some road trips.  Maybe I’ll do a post about my new car with some pictures of it and me looking happy but I don’t really fancy being “that twat next-door/across-the-road who takes photos of his car”.  Perhaps I will to be creative and take it on a tour of Staffordshire and take photos of the place I’ve been.

I love Ladytron

Ladytron have a new video for their song ‘Ace of Hz’ and I like it a lot, the song ain’t half bad either, although I heard that months ago on the Fifa 11 soundtrack.

The song is from their ‘Best of 00-10‘ compilation that is out later this month and I reckon I might just pick up a copy for playing in the car.  I’m also hoping they’ll have a new album out at some point or at least tour.  In fact a tour may have been announced already but I’ve been too busy/tired/exercising/watching box-sets this year to find out.  They are also the reasons  I’ve not posted anything on her in over a month (although February was a short month).  Maybe I should get one of these tumblr things and just post random pictures of Justin Bieber, my face in various stages of contortion or just gif of cats doing shit, like everyone else does.
