Enjoy the silencio

February has been a quiet month as far as months go.  I certainly have found myself too busy with other pursuits to write much on here.  The following have been keeping me busy:

Filming in London, drinking in London, drinking in Stafford, having a 2 hours dental procedure, a job interview, doing job applications, getting another no from a job interview (but with great feedback), driving all the over place since I passed my driving AND probably a whole bunch of other things.  Feb is a short month so forgive me if it sounds like I’ve done fuck all.

OH and the fucking Winter Olympics captured my imagination.  Ski-Cross is amazing, curling is duller than the Wayne/John/Fabio/Vanessa/ThreeLions saga but draws you in like smack.  It was shexy watching a Brit win gold.  I was up late (which isn’t exactly rare) to keep my eyes open in the hope that Amy Williams could win the skeleton gold, and she did.  She is my favourite Skeletor (is that the correct term? – if not, it fucking should be).

Enjoy this ITN news story that doesn’t involve sensationalism.

What does March hold?  More job applications and more of the same.  I might do my pass plus driving course.  I could do with some money so if anyone needs a shag I charge £25 per go (plus travel expenses, free plate of mixed cheese and if you are ugly a blindfold and rohypnol).

I did have time to throw together a little Spotify playlist for people to enjoy, it has lots of new stuff (new to me or new to the world).  Either way enjoy this shiz.  The all important link feb 2010 – new stuff

I ‘ave been on Twitter lots lately, so follow me on there as I (unintentionally) might get a little slack updating wise on here.

YOU’LL DO.

Creative Juices: The Aftermath

By Matt  //  Jawn  //  2 Comments

Hooked with up with Nic and Moff in London for Monday and Tuesday earlier in the week.  We had grand plans that we didn’t fulfil mainly due to the distraction of Red Stripe, Budweiser and flatmates mincing around in their tight-and-white y-fronts.

In the end Tuesday was pretty productive, we shot some footage for one film (Dozen) we decided to focus our energies into and will be looking to finish it off in a few weeks.. Excellent.

Here are a few pictures, you can literally see the creative juices flowing.

EDIT.  The pictures are being a bitch, so I’ll upload them later.

Creative Juices

By Matt  //  Jawn  //  2 Comments

This time next week me and my partners in creation, that makes us sound like heavenly fuck monkeys, shall be halfway through a creative explosion.  I am very excited about getting the camera out again and coming up with something deplorable, ridiculous, vulgar and hopefully hilarious.  We have ideas and shall conjure up a few more so we can have a jam packed couple of days with the resulting output being able to entertain the world (or at least ourselves and a handful of other like-minded drongos).

If you are interested in not only the future video exploits but the old ones, then check these two previous posts which feature links the kind of thing we’ve done before.

That all seems a bit vague, but I wouldn’t want to ruin it.

Superbowl XLIV

By Matt  //  Sport  //  No Comments

So congratulations to New Orleans Saints who beats the Indianapolis Colts, it was great to see it especially after all the city went through five years ago, and whilst not being the most heart-thumping sporting encounter it was an engrossing game.  At least from my fresh perspective.

More importantly it was perhaps the first time I REALLY got into American Football, thoroughly enjoyed it and was engrossed by the tactics and more importantly the speed the game had.  I don’t know if there’s been rule changes but the game seemed to flow a lot quicker than I remember.  I enjoyed it as much as the last World Series and shall now be looking forward to the next season and wouldn’t mind in the future getting to one of the Wembley games.

I also just read it was the most watched TV show in American history, which is pretty amazing.  And, as far as the half-time show, I thought The Who were very good but I enjoyed Prince and The Boss (who played in the past few years) more.
